What I want most for the city of Milwaukee is to focus more on our children’s education, by investing in our Milwaukee Public School system. I would also like to see more inner city safe houses and resource centers for abused women and children.
My most memorable moment in church as a child was at the age of 12 when I gave my life to Christ. Even though I didn’t have a full understanding of what it meant to be saved, I know without a doubt that I didn’t want to die without being in Christ.
When I encourage people to attend Community Baptist Church of Greater Milwaukee, I tell them about our fellowship as a family. That Community is a family church filled with people who care about others and our community. We are a family church with love for one another and that love is shown through actions. Over the years as a member of Community, I have never felt alone because I have brothers and sisters in Christ who love, support and encourage me in my walk with Christ.
